xvi. On Unrelationship - Two Women And Two Unconverging Lines

xvi. On Unrelationship

When he thought about relationships with women, the relationship between him and his mother and the relationship between him and Jessica (or unrelationship) were two of the most significant ones. But he had to recall another relationship. It should be called a romantic relationship in the sense that all physical aspects of the relationship were there including dating, sex, brief cohabitant and a certain exclusiveness. But, they were all mechanical. He was involved in the relationship not exactly wanting her; definitely not emotionally. He did not call it regrettable or a waste of time, but confirming that, he had to realize that, on the surface, that relationship was the most concrete one in his life that he ever had; that realization gave him the sense of desolation.
